John,

that's great advice, and I might add, memorize anything that has "meat" in 
it.  Some examples of what might not be worth memorizing, unless God shows 
you it is, would be the begats, Old Testament instructions for building the 
Tabernacle and what offerings to give, when and how to do it, and names of 
people that Paul mentions to send greetings to,or that he plans to come to 
you and what he wants to do with and for you.  Are you borred yet?
