Just wanted to let everyone know we had very positive experiences with
British Airways in the past weeks, vis a vis the gf food issue.

I just flew to Greece and back with my celiac son, connecting thru
London. On all 4 legs of the journey they remembered his gf meals
without any prompting from us. They delivered them first, instead of
making us wait thru the whole meal service, which has happened to us on
other airlines. (well, and sometimes they don't even have the gf food on
board, or can't find it, etc...)

The meals themselves were actually gf , and the food wasn't bad.
Instead of the usual rice cake and undressed green salad (try getting a
ten year old to eat that) they gave him a nice variety of foods on each
tray - chicken or fish dishes, veggies, salad, fresh fruit (not canned),
gf rolls (not too good, but oh well), yogurt.

I was impressed. In general, the level of service was better than I
have seen on many other airlines in recent travels - cleaner plane,
pillow and blankie for everybody, friendlier flight attendants...

I will post a separate summary on gf eating in Greece for those who are
interested, Lynn
