I think I see what you are saying now..... :-)
But the food mass is tremendously broken down by the time it reachs the
intestines (it is soupy mixture) - one wonders how there could be an
acidifying effect? It's no longer the intact food it was prior to eating.
Do you know how this effect is caused?
