Don't know if you know, but I had hip replacement surgery, and am now Able to walk quite well with a walker or in the pool! Glad you have another terrier! I always think of you when I watch the dog shows on animal planet.
I had a spill in my powerchair last night, you know those places in the sidewalk where trees are? well, this tree had been removed, and i was busy looking at the moon, and I drove my chair too far (it was about 2 - 3 inches) over the dip, and both me and the chair toppled over. Thankfully i always wear my seat belt, so did not go rolling into street. just ended up in the soft dirt, hitting my bad shoulder and arm. Ugh, i have been working w/ pt on my pain for 4 weeks... but at least it was not the new hip (right hip) side. and given the 8-10 hour waits in the ER, and my fear of catching something nasty while waiting, i chose not to go, but to take it easy at home, with ice packs, hot showers, and vicodin. my facilitator was with me, she undid my belt, got my chair back up, and some nice couple going by, helped her stand me up and get me in my chair. bless their hearts.

Thanks, Mag.
Still plodding along here, one foot in front of the other. Though the OT and
Physio who visited recommended a walker. I use it a good bit; they both
noticed immediate gait improvement. The therapy tub has been super helpful
with regard to improved tone and less fibro pain. Love it! :)
Cheers!
