Tried that, but she wouldn't take the bait.  Just the transportation
alone from here to the wedding in South Carolina is going to whack me
for $1500.  She wanted me to fly down in October for a tux fitting (the
menswear shop they've chosen doesn't have an affiliate any where near
here), but the flight for that one trip alone was $400.  Her "colors"
for the wedding are blue, so I've decided to forego the tux and wear my
dress blue uniform.  She's not happy about that, but I'm not happy that
she's decided to have her step-dad be a co "giver away-er".  Plus, her
psycho mom is going to be "Matron of Honor".  It's beginning to sound
like the plot line of a Steve Martin movie, no?
