also, how about checking some of the magazines such as New Mobility.   They 
tend more toward adults who aquired a disability (my impression, at least),  
but just last month there was a great story written by an attorney with CP, so  
who knows what else you might find.  
 
i hope through this your students will realize that disability is just  
another slice of life that includes a whole range of  experiences.
