If you have a good clear view from a window or something for the xm
antenna you should be fine.  Lu does raise a good question however.
What is the source of the other rf in the building?

i hate to say, none of the suggestions work.  i think, actually i know,
there is too dang much rf in this building and i guess i'll have to
settle for 50/50 hiss and station, until i get xm.  I hope there is not
too much rf for that
