Actually, the Rapunzel org. cocoa powder I buy at the Health Food Store has no sugar, the beans are processed in a non-alkaline way & the company purchases cocoa through the Hand in Hand org. fair trade program which gives farmers fair prices on the world market.
We may be talking abt. two diff. things. FWIW, I'm Dutch Frisian & cutting out the milk & sugar was a big step for me when I went paleo over a decade ago. I do sometimes add a pure, organic coconut oil to the cocoa.
