my dad tought me to drive at 16. i had family doc
vouch that i had the ability to learn to drive. dad
ask one of the troopers that gave the test if he
should puut in hand controls and automatic
transamision and was told "no, see if he can do it
without them." i did fine with no devices and with a
straght stick shift. i have never had problems
renting a car. i have no at fault accidents. like deri
i have saw a few in my mirrors. it probably helped my
cause that two state schools for the blind and the
delf were located in my home town and most people in
my home town were accustomed to seeing people with
disabilities.
