Hello all-

My 13 YO was just CD Dx'd with a positive EGD during which a Small Bowel Granuloma
was found. She does not have any symptoms on Crohn's disease. Our GI wants to observe
her after two weeks GF and then possibly do a capsule endoscopy for a portion of small
bowel that is not visible during EGD and/or a coloscopy.

My question is: Do you know of an association between a small bowel granuloma and celiac
disease? Thus, it may be possible that this could resolve on the GF Diet?

Thank you for any help.

Cathy
