This is absolutely ridiculous!!! In all honesty, Jammeh is just setting a precedent for when he leaves the Presidency.
As people suffer to get 3 square meals a day , this Government is thinking of giving Ex-Presidents, free holidays, cars, fuel and a decent "pension". Well perhaps this goes to show that Jammeh has finally realised that Sir Dawda Jawara was never rich as once claimed by the AFPRC regime.
The passing of this Bill does goes to show that the National Assembly Elections are very important to our country's welfare. Whilst, suiporters within the opposition might feel reluctant to take part in the forthcoming election, it must be made clear to them that failing to take in these elections only gives APRC the opportunity to pass Bills that are in the state's interest.
On that note, I think these are one of the reasons why Joe Sambou honestly blows his trumpet about the National Assembly Elections

Bro Bamba,
No problem, the bill was paased by human beings, easy to deal with, the only
crazy thing is people in that house and tax payers money. How on earth can
one justify sitting in that house, for what ? for and against granting a
former president two cars etc. and tax payers have to pay every second and
minute they spent there.
