Hi everyone,
I ended up not having to go to Val d'Or, so I can't speak from
experience..
A nice lady named Margaret, President of the Canadian Celiac
Association (Quebec chapter) sent me a link to a guide of various GF
places to eat in Quebec.
http://www.penny.ca/Quebec.htm
She also suggested I contacted [log in to unmask] for possibly more listings.
I've discovered lately that as a last recourse, I can have fries at
MacDonalds in Canada (Don't know about the US) and a green salad. For
some reason I can also tolerate their coffee very well. Weird. :)
Swiss Chalet also are popular up here, and they have many items that
are GF. They had a separate list for GF items last time I went into
one.
Thanks for the help
Gerard
PS: Is there not a website that globally puts up a list of GF place
to go eat? I'm thinking of creating one now. I could probably keep
it free with some low-key Google Ads. How does that sound?
