I posed the question as to whether a high colonic could be used in place of
the colocnscopy preps which are often not gf. I received the following....

> We have recommended this to a patient (I am a Bastyr ND student in my last
> year) without a history of constipation. This would be more complex in a
> person with a history of constipation. Liquid diet only for 3 days before
> the colonoscopy with two colonics before (I believe 3 days before and
> 12-24
> hours before). This allows a nice clean colon so that a thorough exam can
> be
> done.
