Hello, First I would make sure that the Radeon card was AGP slotted to fit into the motherboard[from the intergrated video looks to be AGP and not PCI]. you can also google your new motherboard and look at its features and see if your motherboard is compatible to your video card you are trying to install. you can disable the onboard video thru your bios. make sure you have the right PSU to power up the video card , because video can sure suck the power and you will have problems with your video.

The SOYO board has integrated video (S3 ProSavage8 DDR 4xAGP) that I know nothing about. I was wondering if it would be a step up or down from the Radeon 8500-64MDDR card that I have in my old computer. The best I can figure, the onboard video shares up to 64 mb of the system memory. Is that correct? Also, I can disable the onboard video if I need to, correct?

Thanks!
Tommy Chumley
