Hi.  I just wanted to write to the list to thank those of you who wrote to
me privately to offer help.  I tried running the file through the Freedom
Import printer a good five or six times; but I either got SSIL errors,
Freedom Import errors, or "scanning failed" errors from within
OpenBook.  Needless to say, I haven't been successful in converting this
file to readable text.  So now it looks like my only choice is to print out
all 220 pages of it and scan them back in.

Anyway, I did want to update everyone and to thank those of you who wrote
to me.
