Hi Lynn,
I don't know exactly what spam filtering Comcast already does for you, but
you might want to look at the headers of your incoming emails and see if
they put a spam header in the emails. Certain spam filtering software
adds a spam header and gives the email a spam ranking. You could then
construct a rule that deletes any email with a spam ranking above a
certain value.
Spam has gotten bad enough for me that I have white listed my inbox. Only
addresses in the whitelist actually make it into the inbox. Others get
shunted into different folders, and anything that doesn't make it through
there gets shunted into the Evil Spam folder which gets cleaned out about
once a week.
