I know you already got an answer to this Albert, but IE favorites are 
also just short cuts in your Favorites folder. Therefore, you could go 
into C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\Favorites and copy 
everything in that directory to your laptop. Of course, you should 
replace "administrator" with your user ID in this path. I mention this 
because going into this directory with Windows Explorer is how I manage 
my IE favorites. I find this simpler than using IE6 to manage favorites. 
I haven't played around with managing favorites in IE7, so this may be 
easier than it was in IE6.
