Hello All:

I'm having a problem with Skype and I think this might be my own doing
to some degree as I was messing around with the audio settings on my
computer. . I need help fixing it.

I'm running Skype Version 3.0 on my desktop PC at home. When I use the
Skype Call Testing Service, I very very faintly hear my voice when
recording the test message. I cannot get the volume of my voice up to
an acceptable level where I can hear it; I only hear it faintly when I
turn my speakers up real loud. Here are the settings I am using:

Windows XP SP2 on a Dell system running Window-Eyes Version 6.0. I have
Skype set files installed.

In playback control under audio settings, I have playback control volume
set to 250, Wave/MP3 volune set to 0 (which is loudest), and microphone
muted. I've also tried it with the playback microphone volume unmuted.

In record control, I have the microphone volume set to 0, highest it
will go. I have the first check box after microphone volume selected,
the one I get to when tabbing away from Microphone Volume.

Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts as to what might be going on?

Thanks,
