If you have another computer, (or get this same one working with
a different OS install on a new or used HD), install the old crashed
HD as a "slave" (or data drive).
You might be able to "see it", depending on how bad the damage is.
This might require different BIOS settings and/or HD jumper setting
changes on one or more drives.
As long as the drive "spins up", and logically initializes you might be
lucky...
