Hi,
Just installed a celeron (prescott) 2.2 ghz processor. Motherboard supports up
to 3 ghz. Boot screen shows celeron 1.7, Bios shows just celeron, and is
locked. Windows shows celeron 2.2 but only running at 1.7. CPUZ shows the
same. Is the processor speed dynamic or is something wrong here. My 2.0 ran
fine, but I needed it for another machine. Could it be the prescott core ?
Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks,
