Lelia,
I'm glad that you didn't find my thoughts  too out there.  You're 
right, junk food is hard to resist.  I have found that altering my 
whole diet has helped me not be interested in sweets or chips any 
more.  In fact, if I eat that kind of stuff now, I actually feel 
physically rotten so that helps with the temptation.  I think that 
food is one of the indulgences that Christian's allow themselves, but 
we shouldn't.  Being overweight can be as damaging and deadly as 
drinking or smoking, but, for some reason, we give ourselves a pass 
on it.  I guess that food is our way of being frogs in the 
kettle.  If we can just remember that, it should keep us humble in 
dealing with helping other people with their sins.
