Hello everyone,

I don't know how many of you have flown recently, but I just got back from a
company trip to Los Angeles and found out that they no longer provide
special menus.... at least on my way to LA, I starved because not only do
they not supply special meals, but their nuts are not gluten free
either..... I just happened to watch the special channel on my hotel's TV
that shows all the things available in the local area. I was thrilled to see
a "mini-show" about a company called skymeals. They provide meals to take on
flights out of the Los Angeles airport. I wouldn't have thought too much of
this service until I heard them list their desserts and one of them was a
gluten free chocolate cake. They will make anything on their menu according
to your special needs. I was thrilled!!! I went online and ordered a fruit
plate and the chocolate cake and they delivered my meal in a lunch bag with
ice packs to my job the day of my flight. I don't have any financial
interest in this company, but when I talked to Richard Katz who delivered my
meal, he told me that they would've gladly delivered me gluten free meals
every night to my hotel room. I wish I had known that before the day I left.
I was so glad that I took my meal onboard because, as usual, the meal served
was not glutenfree, but I didn't care because I just reached down and opened
my skymeals lunch bag and enjoyed a glutenfree feast WITH dessert......It
was wonderful..... my food looked much better that the plane provided so I
had lots of people asking me where I got my meal.......if anyone travels out
of LA or will be in LA and wants something glutenfree delivered to their
room, either go online to www.skymeals.com or call them at 866-SKYMEALS
(759-6325). Oh, one other thing, you get a free dessert with your first
order.

Enjoy!!!!
Mignon
