The Protein Power (not the Lifeplan) book, directs readers to calculate
their particular protein needs. IIRC, the book says to eat that amount and
to count protein from all sources, not just meat.

Subject: Eades and Protein

I really like the Eades' and tell folks that their Protein Power Lifeplan is
the single best book on proper diet out there. But, as I've said a few
times now, I believe that their friend Rosedale is right with respect to
protein. Let's just say this. How difficult would it be to admit you were
wrong when your entire enterprise is called Protein Power? I've always
hated that title.
