Trekker from human wear is great and perhaps the most blind friendly UK
price about £1000 that includes PDA GPS unit the speech software and map
upgrades I think
But don’t ask me US or Canadian price

Subject: blind-friendly GPS units

Hi, all.

I think this question has come up on this list occasionally, but I wasn't in

a position to do anything when it did.

Things have now changed, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a
blind-friendly GPS unit.

I suspect that the unit will not be totally blind friendly in all of its
functions, but I'd like a unit that is as accessible as possible, with
talking features, etc..

GPS units are new to me, so I'm starting at the real beginner level here.

If you could provide information as to model, approximate price, and
availability, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.
