I have a couple friends going for the general locally who say, if you had no 
problem with the tech, you'll have no problem with the general, just study 
and you'll be set with little to no problem. Extra's a little more  info and 
stuff to learn, but I think that's pretty much like the extra test I took a 
few years ago in which case it's not too bad there either if you put the 
time in. It was easier for me probably than some because there's a lot to do 
with packet which I'm in to, and satellite which I've played around with 
little bits of here and there and SSTV which I don't do, but I have enough 
friends in to it that what they covered on the test was stuff I knew anyway.
