here's a couple, how about regular old green backs?
A credit card? a nice aunt from verginia?
HI hi
Here we use a local agency who provides technology and training for persons
under the age of 30.
When you ask a question like how to go about financing one, there is rarely
a national or international organization that provides funding. Its usually
on the state, or regional level and you have to find out who does this kind
of funding and then apply.
Since the trecker is a relatively new technilogical innovation, and it
certainly has the potential to revolutionize the way a blind person travels
and navigates in the urban environment, many agencies are quite willing to
give it a shot to see how it works.
I would go to the lyons and rotery clubs, your state commission for the
blind or similar agency, or at the very least, find out from a state agency
what organizations are willing to fund technology at this level.
Perhaps if you let us know where you are, someone else on the list may be
familiar with resources in your area.
