No, it is much sleeker.
The only real quirk, at least with my helix GPS receiver and the PK is that you
need to turn them on and off in the correct order.
If you don't, the next time you turn it on, it won't recognize the GPS receiver
via bluetooth, which is usually easily remedied by going into the Options,
Connections menu on the PK, turning Blut-tooth off and then turning it back on.

Hi;
Has anyone used the gps unit that goes with the Braille note? Is it as much
of a problem as the packmate arrangement? I looked at some prices very
briefly and it sounded a bit pricey.
