Good morning,

No, you can't import or export from the Kenwood TMV7A software.

The easiest way is to program the repeaters from here to there and then skip
a couple of channels then program any other repeaters that you might use on
side trips and then work your way backwards in the memory channels on the
way home.

If you plan to go home a different route then create another file which
before departing for the homeward trip can be written to the radio from a
laptop. The program and a great deal of files can fit on a 3.5 inch 1.44
meg floppy disk.

Keeping a copy of your trip on a floppy is nice in the event you lock up the
rig by accidentally pushing the wrong buttons and all you get is a beep and
I've held down the wrong reset button when powering back up and I know it in
seconds that I used the wrong button when memory channel 1 is 144.0 MHz.

If we're on a trip I wait until we stop for the night before mentioning that
I'll unpack the area in back so I can get to the radio body and plug in the
cable.

HTH 73,

Paul WR1X
