the thing about HF verticals, is I don't think it really makes a difference
in performance if its 20 or 25 feet hi off the ground.  You would need to
put it at the top of a 60 foot tower for there to be any real difference
between ground mounting and mounting higher up.
They're designed to be ground mounted anyway, so the performance is going to
be as good on the ground as high up.
