If I am correct, the part of Indiana that was on Eastern time did not
observe while the part that was on central time did, although I may have
that reversed.

My thinking is that we have 24 time zones that were established by
international treaty for a reason, so why not leave them as is?

Otherwise, why not double daylight saving time? Why not triple daylight
saving time?

I was also told by Senator Vitter in a response to my email that there is a
provision in the bill extending daylight saving time that Congress can
revert back to the original daylight saving time parameters if it feels this
extension didn't work, but I don't think we need it at all.
