Hi Matt;

Just get a TH-F6A and don't use the third band.

I have some 220 repeaters programmed into my handheld however, I don't use them.

I think the third band is just a by-product of the wideband receive or vise versa.

Really, I think that your best bet.

  i would second and  third that about the k2at, i like mine although I 
  don't use it as much as i thought i would.  I think i would actually like 
  a 2/70 or a 2/6 radio, although i don't think  a trade would quite be a 
  fair deal being that multi-band seems more money according to the
