Christy,

I'm not sure if auto-offset works on 70CM, but it's easy to see whether it's 
on or not.  Just press the Reverse button and read the frequency.  If the 
reading is the same as it was before you pressed the button, you're in 
Simplex.  If it's different, you'll have to adjust accordingly.
