what sort of inconsistancies are you getting with the tw1?
Just saying you get inconsistancies and not explaining doesn't allow anyone
to really give you hints or anything as to what the problem may be, or if
its just a function of the meter.
Running the tw1 on the same power supply shouldn't be an issue unless you
have some kind of ground loop issue or RF getting into the meter, but that
is unlikely.
