Villages in Cameroon are characterized by a
rudimentary or nonexistent health infrastructure
and the spread of disease. Basic medicine has
become scarce and the young population is forever
at risk. Minor health problems and pregnancy
easily degenerate into fatal conditions for lack
of health care. To address this situation, the
Madison community can make a small effort to
improve the lives of people dear to us.

Your donations make great things possible...
$8 can feed a child for a month
$1 a day buys clean water
$20 a year immunizes against malaria
$10 a month covers prenatal care
    $50 pays for a mammogram
$15 pays for a pap smear
$300 makes a session of chemotherapy possible
$10 pays for an eye exam
    $100 buys prescription eyeglasses
$1 a day teaches a child to read and write

Donations also make it possible to...
    - Conduct field work in the village
    - Initiate community rural development projects
    - Provide potable water by digging wells
    - Help provide medical supplies, lab equipment and generating units

Tax-deductible contributions to the medical
center can be made payable to "Cameroonian
American Foundation" and mailed to:
    PO Box 506
    DeForest, WI 53532
