Hi;
If you put up an r8 be sure there are at least three good support ropes. 
The antenna works great but it just isn't sturdy when it comes to wind.
Although its not cheap to start I'd pay for a sturdier version.

probably a cushcraft.
Something like the R5 or similar.
I can't put down achers of ground radials so it'll have to be something with
a ground plane or counter poise system that works well enough at the
antenna.
