We will have two shifts of ten demo tables offering samples of gluten free
food to customers shopping on May 17th at the Food Pavilion in Fairhaven

help out as well as attend the event and try all the great GF foods that are
available at this store. There will be GF cooking demos at 1 PM, 3 PM and 5
PM. We will also have an information table with brochures, a sign up sheet and
information on May as Celiac Awareness Month. In the email, please give me
your name, email address and phone number as well as whether you would like to
work from 12:30 to 3:30 PM ( Shift A ) or the 3:00 to 6:00 PM (Shift B ).
Thanks, Kelle
3. New Restaurant - Mount Vernon The Trumpeter Public House 360-588-4515 -
Serving gluten free fish and chips! - WOW
The Trumpeter Public House opened just 8 weeks ago. At the suggestion of a
patron who really wanted fish ?n chips but couldn't have it due to dietary
restrictions, they investigated and followed through on offering gluten-free
selections. Their new menu (available 4/25) will note which items are naturally
GF and which items have been prepared to be gluten free (like Fish and Chips
- $11 and Fried Calamari (appetizer) $7 - both were great!). They can be
found at 426 Myrtle St. in Mount Vernon (very easy to find) or check out their
website at _www.trumpeterpublichouse.com_ (http://www.trumpeterpublichouse.com)
. Note: currently the GF items are not marked on the website menus.
