My sister has been told that she is hyperthyroid, her T4 levels are
messed up. Anyway, she had a thyroid scan that came back normal, can
that happen??? She complains of feeling like there is something in her
throat, tremors, racing heart, stabbing heart pains, trouble sleeping,
irritability. She was also diagnosed with Graves disease. She only had
one eye bulging and it has since stopped bulging (without treatment is
this possible). The doctor has told her that she is borderline
hypothyroid and has not put her on medication, but with all of these
symptoms is that even reasonable?? She is extremely frustrated and has
been experiencing symptoms for a year and a half. She lives in the
Philadelphia area, does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you, Sallette
Thompson
