I agree with you 100%. I'm kind of new to this--just diagnosed with a thyroid
nodule and hypothyroid.  After consulting with many different sources, I've
decided to take Synthroid--however it's not without reservations.  I have a
2nd opinion with an Endo plus I'm in touch with an MD who's also big on
homeopathic remedies.  Right now I need to get back to some kind of normal so
I can function (I have 3 young kids plus I  work full time).  I'm really
interested in diet as a way of combatting this--what do you do?  I've learned
alot from this bulletin board--I had no idea so many people were affected !!!
 I hope things continue to go well for you and your daughter--keep writing
