As to whether it is a cellular level resistance, that is a good
question. Often our explanations of the observations turn out to be
inexact or even wrong. But we have seen that many things can interefere
with cellular metabolism and thus cause reduced body temperature. Some of
the yeasts like Candida Albecans are known to produce various hormone
analogues as well as other toxins which can suppress body temperature.
As to Wilson's Syndrome being pesudo-science... having low body
temperature, I can say that I can track my body temperature to my symptoms
rather well! Allergy symptoms are diminished when my body temperature is
near the norms, and get worse as body temperature drops. I know of others
who have the same kind of problem, and are helped by Wilson's cyclical
protocol. (I can't, because at about 98.4, I become too active to work my
deep analytical skills. I need to be in the 97.4 - 98.2 window to do
well. I've always had really low body temperature, guess my brain just
grew that way.)
If is very often the case that "Official Knowledge" takes a while to
catch up with new discoveries. In the beginning, everyone dismisses the
new discovery as fraud without bothering to look. Even if the
explanations turn out wrong, the observations are there. All one has to do
is to start measuring temperatures and then correlating those with
problems. We see this kind of denial a lot in engineering and the
sciences; but in those fields, the denials don't last very long, because
others start making money from the new way, which we call Technology.
Medicine seems a little slower on the uptake...
