Folks,
I received a copy of my most recent test results:
TSH <0.03
HEMOGLOBIN A1C 6.4
SED.RATE 50
LIVER PANEL
AST 17
ALKP 63
CBC W/PLATELET COUNT
WBC COUNT 8.8
RBC COUNT 4.66
HEMOGLOBIN 12.4
There were other tests done (but not thyroid) that were all within "normal".
My doc says that since the TSH is so low, I need to lower my Levothroid dosage
from .2 mg./day to .175. I was not tested for T3 and I strongly doubt I can
talk her into giving me the test. I have been dx'd with Hashimoto's since
1983, and I thought that my thyroid hormone was atrophied by now. I also have
Fibromyalgia and high BP.
I would really appreciate any thoughts on my test results. Specifically, it
seems that the TSH is *extremely* low, and all they are doing is adjusting my
thyroid dosage. Why would it change so dramatically? (I've been taking .2mg
of Levothroid since 1985)
Thanks!
Ananda
