So McD's is actually stating the following with regarding to fries having natural beef flavor.....(I didn't look up hashbrowns)...
*CONTAINS: WHEAT AND MILK (Natural beef flavor contains hydrolyzed wheat and hydrolyzed milk as starting
But wasn't there an explanation way back, not from McD's obviously, that at least the gluten in the hydrolyzed wheat is processed out of the flavoring due to distillation (as with hard liquor)?
I think they just don't have the mental capacity or legal courage to provide more of an answer. We've gone about as far as we're "gonna" get with McD's.
Any suggestions? Anyone know the whole truth about this?
I hate to say, "Gee, I don't react to the fries," but that's the truth, and my most recent biopsy showed all clear.
For those of you who choose not to eat fast food, please don't write to me!!!!!! I'm interested in a true explanation of just what the impact of their ingredients means, not a lecture. I eat better than you'd think, considering I don't want to give up the occasional luxury of McD's. And for those who have kids, giving up McD's can be a real challenge.
