I note someone forwarded a list of restaurants but would actually like to
communicate with someone over there. (We want to go camping, among other
things). Also, for anyone over that way, the North American Fruit Explorers
will be having their annual meeting Aug 23-24 at Clemson. Just $15, lots of
lectures Thursday on the latest southern fruit varieties, lots of useful
info on growing backyard fruit, and fun people to talk with. And Saturday a
tour of heirloom veggies at the state botanical garden. This may sound off
topic, but I expanded our garden when I realized I had CD so I'd have lots
of variety in my diet. We grow a lot of unconventional veggies and fruit,
and eat out of the garden all year round. Donna, Tennessee
