Hi Jim:

Just the mention of the word ....

Cacao though is pricey stuff. I got some Wholly pure organic cacao last fall 
in a rather small package (4 oz or 112 gm) for $5.59 (with a
sizeable proportion of the contents made up with raisins. I tried grinding 
some up along with my coffee beans this morning but the coffee taste 
overwhelmed the cacao taste, though.

Personally I think the addictive qualities are overstated - its the fat, 
sweetness, flavour and mouth-feel that enamors so many of us to chocolate 
(the manufactured product).
