Lisa,
Choose the XP version for the download. I am running this version on my XP
system and I do not have any problems. The 64 bit version is for the
computers that are running Windows 7 or especially setup XP systems.

I also use FireFox on my systems. I suggest to fully close one before
opening the other. When I close one, I do a Start + M before I open the
other. This may not do anything, but I have not had any issues.

Michael

Subject: [VICUG-L] question about windows xp

Hi all,

I know this might sound silly, but I just wanted to ask and make sure. I
just spent last evening going back and forth and back and forth between
internet explorer and fire fox which corrupted my internet explorer. Gw
micro said that they have seen this happen before so I have learned my
lesson and I am not going to do that any more. I was just trying to get
webvisum to work and after a few hours it still wouldn't so I gave up. I
had to uninstall my internet explorer 8 which reverted me back to 7. So
when I go to download it again it wants to know my operating system. I have
xp home, but in the choices there is xp and xp 64 bit. I don't know what 64
bit refers to so I don't know which I have. I have fios service. Can
someone tell me for sure what one I should pick? I just don't want this to
get any more messed up. Thanks very much in advance.

Lisa
