Hi Phil,
I agree. Fact checking will definitely be part of the process before I/we
write anything for publication. But it's the ideas are the challenge.
Sometimes they are right on the money and sometimes they are way off, but
they are the seeds from which the writing grows. It is just that I've got
this memory that might have me saying something inane like: "I read a post
from someone recently. While I can't remember their name or where I this
post came from, I really can't take credit for the whole insight because
they came up with at least half of it."
I'd rather put your name with the raw materials. Then, when I have the time
to check the content, and if it looks solid, write about it, I can attribute
the source appropriately.
