Hi Marilyn, 
Only one in the party needed a spear, as he was the "runner" who was left to
run down the animal. The others were just present to help separate the bull
from the herd.

The video does not inspire much credibility as sometimes they carry spears 
and other times not.  I didn't watch the whole thing though.....
