Hi All,

I am not necessarily on a weight loss plateau, but I am still not as lean as
I would like to be. Looking at the email below I have got the following:

My weight: 138 lbs
Body Fat: 21 % (roughly)

Lean Body Mass:	109 lbs = 49.55
Protein Requirements: 49.55 * 1.2 = 59.46

At 6.5 grams of protein per 1 oz of meat/chicken, etc. that would be roughly
9 oz of meat/poultry/fish a day?

With candida, high blood sugar, and other issues it has also been suggested
to keep carbs at no more than 20 grams per day which isn't much. Would I
just make up the rest of my meal with fat/oil?

Thanks,
Kristina

You may be overestimating. That 1.2g/kg should be based on lean
bodyweight. If you've got (for example) 20 kg of fat you're trying to
lose, you don't need to figure protein requirements for it.

That was for a 6 oz can (168g).

The tuna was just an example, you could choose whatever fish you prefer.
