I haven't tried it, but I would imagine a pair of 9V batteries wired up in
paralel and taped together, and then taped or otherwise stuck to the
top/side of the meter,  with a pig tail running off it would be perfect to
use with the tw1 or tw2 for field use.
The tw2 especially for testing mobile installations where the cigarette
lighter is already being utilized by the radio or HT.
