Without a doubt in my mind, this is entirely cultural. Men think they  
can eat crap and live forever. Women are afraid to get fat. None of  
this would apply in a different culture, and none of it has to do  
with health, Paleo, or instinct.

If greens were not to do any good, could one argue that we should  
have evolved completely into carnivores? Why, after all this time, do  
we still have molars which grind and enzymes to break down cellulose?  
What could possibly be the biological advantage of eating useless food?
