Hi;
You might also want to try reading this book that just came out. (I haven't
yet but I will soon). I heard the author on the radio a couple of days ago
and the book sounds *very* interesting. He talks about making sure to eat
greens which he says helps to direct calcium to the cells of the bones and
thus prevents inapproporiate calcium deposition in other areas of the body.
Interestingly, he also stated that too much calcium ingestion is not good.
One of his co-authors (Carolyn DeMarco) apparently has contributed to
solutions to the problem of bone loss in space and has helped NASA to that
end.
